When the latest music festival on the subcontinental circuit, Magnetic Fields, opens on Friday, the crowd will be indistinguishable from any other gathering of young music lovers, with their skinny jeans, thick-rimmed glasses and swigs of rum. But it will be impossible to mistake the setting from anywhere other than India. It is being housed in a 17th-century palace in Rajasthan.
