AFL in India hampered by NGO crackdown | The Age

The Indian government has been steadily shutting NGOs or freezing access to their bank accounts in recent months, most prominently with Greenpeace and the Ford Foundation.

In all, more than 10,000 NGOs have had their licences cancelled or their access to money halted amid this crackdown on foreign funding. And there is one unusual and unprecedented Australian inclusion on that list: AFL India.
