Adani faces questions over conduct at home | Sydney Morning Herald

Things are looking increasingly grim for Indian conglomerate The Adani Group and its plans to mine coal in Queensland, despite the company’s staunch assertions it is here to stay.

Obstacles to that plan are mounting: banks are refusing to provide finance, a major customer has pulled out, staff have been laid off, and development of the $16 billion Carmichael mine is also hampered by environmental challenges.
